A newspaper in Green Bay published an article about a teenager busted after he published photos of his marijuana stash on MySpace.com
Actually police used the photo to locate the plants once a search warrant was issued. Apparently MySpace subscribers are being monitored for gang related activities across the United States because it is a trendy free publishing medium.
My Space may be free for users but it looks as if this guy is going to pay somehow.
Labeling that picture, “My Mary Jane thats growin in my closet right now” also doesn’t help, unless you count the time raiding police officers saved in locating the stash.
“When someone is going to advertise their drug use — or any other crime for that matter — on a Web site, chances are we’re going to find it, and this is what’s going to happen,” one Policeman said
